John Becaro is a former Student President of La  Consolacion College- Bacolod and  graduated as Bachelor of Fine Arts with the major of Advertising back in 2002.  After graduating he worked for 7 years in the corporate world as a Graphic Artist. After resigning, he became a freelance comics and digital artist, concept illustrator, painter, graphic designer, online content creator and a youtuber. He is the creator of  Pintura Comics and currently works with Marvel, DC Comics, Disney Asia,Finding Unicorn, Universal Studios, Illumination Entertainment, Dreamworks and Curious Creatives as a sketch card artist. He is also a freelance artist for Glasshouse Graphics, Conquest Universe, several companies and  Independent Small Press Publications local and international since 2007. He is also a regular artist guest and resource person of several Comics, Pop Culture and Art Conventions in Metro Manila and Luzon. He also owns a  small business called Ninja Brush Art Services which advocates the empowerment of creativity and provides platform for the new,  aspiring and professional artists.

Currently, working with Power Bugs as the Creator- founder. Power Bugs™ is an all-Filipino collaborative project by various toy designers, creators, and artists. Most of the time he is open to do commissioned artworks. He specializes  in cover  art, pencilling,   inking,   coloring,   flatting   and   lettering   for  various 
publications in both local and abroad.He also love doing concept art / visual supplements  for  games, films,  books, magazines, tv  and advertising. He is also a   professional    advertising/ marketing   practitioner and strategist.
